THE IMPORTANCE OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Reverend R. T. Davis (1945 - 1974) saw the need of Christian education growth in the church. Reverend Davis set up the Board of Christian Education naming Reverend Madison J. Williams as the director. The Board conducted many training schools and other programs to stimulate and cultivate Christian growth in the church.

2ND ANNUAL RESURRECTION SUNDAY ESSAY CONTEST
Essay Title: How Jesus' Crucifixion Fulfilled the Principle of the OT Scape Goat

​RULES:

Participants must be regular Sunday School attendees.

Essays must be at least 250 words, scripturally sound, and referenced.

Essays should be typed or neatly written.

Applications are available on March 16, 2025, and must accompany essays.

Essays must be postmarked or received by 5:00 PM on April 13, 2025, with the application attached.

Judging will be done by the pastor, superintendent, and one teacher.

The winner will be announced on April 20, 2025, during Sunday School and will receive a $100 gift card; only one winner will be chosen.

Sunday school teachers, deacons, and associate ministers are ineligible to participate.

Plagiarism and AI-written essays will result in disqualification.

TEACHERS CHURCH SCHOOL
Teachers church school is held weekly on Tuesday evenings via Zoom. Teachers will be notified of any cancellations in advance.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT HOUR
​​Church members and visitors are invited to come and study with us. We are disciples of Christ who study the word of God and are being transformed into a spirit led church using their gifts to do the work of the Lord.
Christian Education (Sunday School) is held on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. ahead of service. Adults, Senior Men & Women, and Children are all welcome! ​
